We take pride in maintaining a consistent weekly schedule for the growth of our students. The dates and times for weekly music lessons adhere to a regular weekday or weekend schedule. Understanding that flexibility in scheduling can be necessary, NorthShore PianoForte affords a scheduling grace period at the discretion of the faculty.
While scheduling modifications are to be expected, we greatly look forward to hearing about extracurricular activities and travel plans ahead of time. Should any inconsistency arise in scheduling, we encourage our clients to reach out to us immediately so that we are aware of the schedule before the first of the month.
NsPf emails all registered clients a customized invoice on the first of the month to confirm the dates and times of their private lesson schedule. Both the client and instructor agree to the location and duration of lessons ahead of time. Instructors complete all lessons promptly and kindly ask that their clients are ready to begin immediately upon arrival.
Prices are fixed for a maximum of five lessons each month. Clients should remit payment by the first of the month before instruction takes place. Successful payment confirms the schedule of lessons.
NorthShore PianoForte bills by three instructional tiers: advanced, intermediate, and beginner. As a friendly reminder, payment for music lessons must be remitted in full by the first of the month before instruction takes place. Clients are always guaranteed a minimum of three meetings per month.
Payment must be remitted to NorthShore PianoForte promptly within no more than 48 hours of the client receiving their invoice via email. After 48 hours, a five percent late fee of the subtotal will be assigned. Please direct scheduling and billing concerns immediately to our studio managers, Benjamin Gamze and Hee Yeon Kim.
NorthShore PianoForte accepts payment by check, credit/debit card, or Chase Zelle®. There is a processing fee of 4% for payment with a card saved on file. All sales for music lesson prices are final and posted rates are subject to change at any time.
NorthShore PianoForte proudly hosts two student recitals each year. Clients should expect to receive emails with the dates, times, and locations for each biannual event. Additionally, our community may choose to cancel meetings between Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, January 1st. Lessons may be cancelled due to the observance of such Federal Holidays in 2024,
NorthShore PianoForte maintains a 48-hour cancellation policy for the regularity of our clients' and teachers’ schedules. Missed lessons are not typically granted makeup time and the cancellation policy is for emergencies only. The rescheduling of any cancellations which occur due to extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the NsPf faculty.
Rescheduled lessons must be completed within 30 days of the originally scheduled date and will – under no circumstances – be further modified. Please note, the time, duration and location of such sessions vary based on the availability of the teacher.
